(“CCN” , “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the CCN Website or any CCN Website Service, you acknowledge and represent that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement and any updates thereto posted on the CCN Website, and you represent, warrant and agree that you are bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement. Your continued use of the CCN Website constitutes your binding acceptance of any update to this Privacy Policy or the User Agreement. Some terms appearing in this Privacy Policy may be defined in the User Agreement. 

 

 

a)         CCN does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

 

b)         CCN does not knowingly permit spam to be disseminated by or through the CCN Website.

 

c)         CCN does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13, and removes any posting or bid CCN discovers was submitted by someone under 13.

 

d)         The CCN Website password protects your user account. Keep your password safe.

 

 

CCN collects and stores information you provide to CCN.

 

When you create a user account you will be asked to create your profile to include at least your name, age, mailing address and e-mail address. You are under no obligation to do so, but may choose to provide further information in your profile such as text, videos, music or photos that may reveal personally identifiable or other sensitive information. You may update or correct your profile or terminate your user account at any time.

 

To sell or buy items using the CCN Website Services, you will be asked to provide shipping information such as your mailing address and telephone number. CCN does not store your credit card information. Instead, CCN uses a secure connection to pass your credit card information to a third party payment processing service provider.

 

CCN collects and stores communications made through the CCN Website, forum discussions and messages between users, including collecting the contents of communications regarding a Buyer-Seller Dispute.  If you communicate with us or another user communicates with us about you, such communications will be collected in our files for access by authorized personnel.

 

The CCN Website may display trivia questions that you can answer and you may be invited to participate in a user survey. You are under no obligation to answer any trivia question or to participate in any survey. Information you provide when answering a trivia question or participating in a survey will be collected and accessible to CCN’s authorized personnel, and may be used for marketing the CCN Website Services. CCN may produce statistical data from trivia answers and survey results, and may disclose to third parties aggregate statistics that exclude personally identifiable information.

 

CCN may send you a general user e-mail about CCN, the CCN Website or its Services, or to request your feedback. You may opt out of receiving further general user e-mails at any time.

 

CCN automatically collects telecommunications information such your Internet Protocol (IP) address when you visit the CCN Website. CCN may also log the CCN Website pages you access and your browser type.

 

CCN stores collected information in servers located in British Columbia, Canada. CCN will endeavor to securely store collected information, but cannot guarantee complete security.

 

 

CCN uses collected personal information to:

 

a)         provide and adapt the CCN Website Services;

 

b)         customize, improve or modify the CCN Website;

 

c)         statistically analyze site usage for marketing the CCN Website and its Services;

h)         enforce the User Agreement; and to

Personal information, including names and mailing addresses, of Buyer and Seller are disclosed to each other if that Buyer’s bid to purchase an item is accepted by that Seller.

 

CCN may release collected personal information to third party contractors and service providers under agreements that limit their use of such personal information. CCN does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

 

 

CCN creates cookies that are stored on the hard drives of computers you use to access the CCN Website. Cookies created by CCN store information to maintain your session with the CCN Website, and may store information to customize the appearance of the CCN Website pages on your computer. CCN does not store personally identifiable information in cookies. Your browser may permit you to decline cookies from CCN, although declining cookies from CCN may interfere with your use of the CCN Website. You can delete cookies stored by CCN from your computer’s hard drive.
