After several days of rain in Whistler we decided to make the most of a sunny day. Jessica hits the pumptrack for an early morning session. photo: matthew mallory

I have been loving the BMX on the pumptrack. It is so much more demanding since you cannot use the suspenion to help preload and develope speed. rider: matthew mallory photo: jessica nordlander

Speed and flow keep you moving on the pumptrack. It may be one of the best things to help improve your riding. rider: jessica nordlander photo: matthew mallory

Rail the corner, pump up and over.....and then over turn. rider: matthew mallory photo: jessica nordlander

After the pumptrack session it was on to the big bikes and the Whistler Bike Park. rider: jessica nordlander photo: matthew mallory

Hike, hike, hike, I am normally the one giving this order. rider: matthew mallory photo: jessica nordlander

Hello, I am Jessica from Sweden and I like to ride bikes. photo: matthew mallory

Even the bears found it warm. This fella was chilling in the shade only a couple feet from the trail as riders flew by. photo: matthew mallory

Downhill bikes+jumps=fun. rider: matthew mallory photo: jessica nordlander

Two bikes down and onto our third. We finished off the day with an XC ride on Thrill Me Kill Me. Jessica is a blur as she speeds across the water. photo: matthew mallory

And my third bike of the day was the 29er. Only a few days on it and I love the wagon wheels. rider: matthew mallory photo: jessica nordlander

Our day started at 8:30am, finished at 9:00pm and involved pumptrack, downhill and cross country. You could say we were tired and happy. The End. photo: matthew mallory
