Presenting the Revenge of the Ripper.
There is a new format to racing on the famous North Shore.
Friday night will be a fun and for laughs chainless DH on the Richard Juryn trail. The start will be at 7:00pm and it will be a time trial format.
Saturdays ride is the "Specialized Euro Enduro". Copying the wildly successful European format of new school racing riders will muster at Interriver Park on the 9th for a 10 am start time to head to Mount Seymour. Riders will have 3 descents that they need to get to by their individually outlined times. The riders will only be timed for their descents. The 'race' is the combined time of the three descents that they ride during the day- lowest time wins. As it is still very early the specific descents have not been fully outlined. It could be; Corkscrew, ping, pang or. And Severed and Bottle top - more details to follow. The spirit of the event is a great group ride with bragging rites for the Dh sections.
Sunday's ride is the "Trek Slash Super D" . Starting at 10 am the route will be very similar to last seasons Super D. We will start the time trial on TNT and finish in the Blair range. As it is still very early the exact route not fully outlined. More trail and route info to follow as the snow clears.
As with all Ripper events these ones have a focus on fun.
