GranFondo Canada have announced some major enhancements to their route. This includes shutting Taylor Way and the eastbound lanes of the Trans-Canada on the Upper Levels. There is a newly designed first rest stop and most importantly, cyclists will enjoy a completely car free highway for the first 34 km of the ride.

As anyone can imagine, there must have been serious work and thought put into this by all the parties affected e.g. emergency services, ferries, municipalities etc. so well done to GranFondo Canada for making it happen.
