Fundraising Made Easy
Along with a comprehensive event registration and merchandize management system, CCN provides integrated donation processing for charity bike rides or other fundraising events. We consistently heard from fundraisers that participants would register for an event and then have to go to another platform to set up their pledge pages, causing inconvenience and less take up. By listening carefully to these concerns, CCN launched integrated fundraising in 2011.
Participants can be given the option to donate during registration and/or complete their registration and set up their tailored pledge page in a very simple process. The facts show that by making it easy for riders to set up pledge pages, the more funds are raised for the charity/good cause. Period.
It is one thing to set up a pledge page, but pledge pages, like events, are social. So we have built in social media sharing to allow fundraisers to share their cause and efforts with their networks and friends. Need a running total of all the participants? Easy. A badge is created that totals (live) donations made to all the pledge pages that can be embedded on your webpage showing the total amount raised to date.
As a donor, the main thing that one wants is ease and a tax receipt. CCN has the ability, if authorized by the charity, to issue CRA, IRS and HRMC compliant sequential tax receipts. This means the donor gets their receipt immediately to print and keep in their records. A link to the receipt is also emailed to him/her.
Our experience of working with charity related events in North America and the UK, including on the sister company of CCN, 2Mevents.com, allows us to brainstorm with the event organizer/charity on the best ways to use technology as part of their fundraising campaign.
End goal:
- higher funds raised for the charity,
- less administration for donors, fundraisers and the charity
- making it easy and fun
We pride ourselves on our personal service. Please call us to have a discussion about your next event.
