“In 2011 the event raised over $40,000 for spinal cord research. Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, CA - Registration has opened for the 2012 Tara Llanes Classic (TLC), taking place at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort on September 29 and 30, 2012. The TLC offers Cross-Country, Super-D and Industry Cup (a team event for anyone working in the mountain bike industry) events, as well as a Shimano Kid's Race and a screening of "Where the Trail Ends", a Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment feature-length film by Derek Westerlund.
